SAN ANTONIO, TEXAS, USA, (JULY 25, 2024) - San Antonio Runners Women's Soccer Club beat Lady Dragons Soccer Club in penalty kicks on Wednesday, July 24, 2024 at Soccer Central San Antonio after ending the match in a 0 - 0 tie, winning the United Premier Soccer League's Women's Texas Central Division for the Spring 2024 Season. 

At 7:30 pm CST, two 15 minute halves were played to complete the playoff final which began on Sunday, July 22, continuing final which had been delayed due to lightning after the full regulation 90 minutes ended in a tie. 

After 30 minutes resulted in a 0-0 tie, Raeann Garcia stepped up for Runners as goalkeeper while Reese Gibbons, Karla De la Luz, Chloe Lombard, Jacquline Vargas, and Claire Miller scored all 5 of the Penalty Kicks with Raeann stopping one and another missing to win 5 - 3. 

The Runners will now travel to Allen, TX this Saturday, July, 27 to play Texas Spurs Women for the UPSL Women's Central Conference Final, 7pm kickoff at Ereckson Middle School.
