Update on Spring 2020 Tryouts
Published Mar 25, 2020

SAN ANTONIO - TEXAS - March 25, 2020 - San Antonio Runners Soccer Club fully supports the United Premier Soccer League's decision to delay the start of the Spring 2020 Season to May 2nd.

"We are not qualified to know when normal activity will resume. It goes without saying that these plans are subject to the lifting of any restrictions currently in place, particularly those regarding public gatherings as well as any mandates from our governing body." -UPSL Commissioner, Yan Skwara.

As a club, the health of our players, staff, fans, and potential players is a top priority as we continue to monitor the developments regarding COVID-19. We hoped the situation would deescalate by this week but because it hasn't yet and government mandates are still active in San Antonio and across the country, for everyone's safety we will be postponing this upcoming weekend's tryouts until further notice. If there happens to NOT be a Spring 2020 UPSL season, we will refund the registration fee to the applicants. For any questions please message us on social media for a quick response. Until then, stay healthy, remain indoors, practice social distancing, and keep training as you can!

Best Regards,
