August 21, 2019 – Los Angeles – The United Premier Soccer League (UPSL) is pleased to announce NorCal United Football Club as a member kicking off with the 2020 Spring Season.

Based in Fairfield (Calif.), NorCal United FC will begin UPSL play in the Western Conference Wild West Division I, and host its UPSL homes games at Will C. Wood High School (998 Marshall Road, Vacaville, CA 95687) in compliance with UPSL's Minimum Standards.

United Premier Soccer League Wild West Division Manager Nick Arellano said, "We are pleased to welcome NorCal United FC to the UPSL's Wild West Division. NorCal United FC is a club that is willing to fight for its place, and has done well in its region. The club has a strong ownership group and identity committed to investing in the future, and now they're looking to take the next step into the UPSL. Good luck to NorCal United FC as it gets set to kick off in 2020."

NorCal United FC was established more than 10 years ago and has since become the top youth club in Solano County (Calif.), featuring competitive and recreation soccer programs for boys and girls. The club is operated by a board of directors.

Jon Edmisten and Daniel Holochuck are co-owners of NorCal United FC.

Edmisten is co-Owner and CEO of NorCal United FC. A former semi-professional player in England, Mexico and the United States, Edmisten is a Marine Corps veteran and Law Enforcement K9 Handler.

NorCal United FC CEO Jon Edmiston said, "The UPSL has shown everyone what lower league football means to this country. Supporting Promotion and Relegation based on sporting merit checks a big box for us. Making sure the jump to add a first team to our club was a move to ensure all players have a pathway to the professional game. "

Holochuck played semi-professionally in both Mexico and the United States.

Jorge Chavez is Director of Football and General Manager of NorCal United FC. Victor Bernardez serves as Head Coach.

The club also operates NorthBay FC, a vertically-integrated non-profit youth club featuring competitive and recreational teams for players in Solano County (Calif.). The club serves hundreds of youth players every year.

The club soon will announce its upcoming game schedule.
