July 9, 2019 – Arlington (Texas) – Ebby Fowobaje knows Arlington FC is right where they should be.

The Arlington (Texas)-based Pro Development soccer club posted a 9-1-2 overall record and claimed the UPSL Championship Central Conference North Division table to earn automatic promotion to UPSL Division I for the 2019 Fall Season.

Arlington FC Director of Operations Ebby Fowobaje said, "We represented the City of Arlington very well, keeping in mind the positive qualities that the game of soccer can have in a community and for the youth of community. Now we have earned promotion and everyone has very good things to say about the UPSL, and for the way they are growing the game in the United States."

Arlington FC won its final three games of the regular season to take 28 points from 12 league fixtures.

"For us, going into the UPSL in the first year we showed the City of Arlington what a good job UPSL is doing for soccer in the United States. The league is very competitive, very tough, and the players are getting better because of it," Fowobaje said.

The Arlington (Texas)-based club averaged 2.91 goals per game, and posted a 5-0-1 record in home matches.

The UPSL was formed in 2011 and currently includes more than 300 teams in Alaska, Arizona, California, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Oklahoma, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Texas, Utah, Virginia and Wisconsin. UPSL is the fastest growing Pro Development League in the USA, with 400-plus teams targeted for 2019 Fall Season.
