NATIONAL PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Mass United FCs Alessandro Franciosa

November 20, 2019 – Los Angeles – Mass United FC midfielder Alessandro Franciosa has been selected UPSL National Player of the Week.

Franciosa, 15, had 95-percent passing accuracy in a 3-2 victory over Philadelphia Lone Star FC in a UPSL 2019 Fall Season Northeast Conference Empire Division I championship game on Sunday, Nov. 17, 2019. Franciosa played 90-plus minutes as Mass United FC (7-0-3 overall) claimed its second division title in three seasons.

Franciosa has established himself as a starter for Mass United FC this season, and has received inquiries from domestic and international professional clubs.

The UPSL National Player of the Week is selected each week of the regular season by members of the league and journalists covering the UPSL, and decided by the fans via Twitter poll.
