October 17, 2019 – Los Angeles – FF Premier midfielder Sergio Guerrero has been selected UPSL National Player of the Week.
Born in Dallas (Texas), Guerrero had three assists and scored a goal in a 5-0 victory over Tyler FC in a UPSL 2019 Fall Season Central Conference North Red River Division II game on Saturday, Oct. 5, 2019. Guerrero played 90 minutes as FF Premier (2-0-2 overall) moved into a tie for second place with the win.
Guerrero played in the Dallas Texans Development Academy and graduated from Lake Highlands (Texas) High School. He also played for Paris (Texas) Junior College an in Germany for SG Guldenbatchtal in the Bezirksliga. He is in his first season with FF Premier, and currently has three goals and three assists in four games this season.
The UPSL National Player of the Week is selected each week of the regular season by members of the league and journalists covering the UPSL, and decided by the fans via Twitter poll.
