September 4, 2019 – Los Angeles – The United Premier Soccer League (UPSL) is excited to welcome the return of Palm Beach Flames Soccer Club as a league member for the 2019 Fall Season.

Based in Palm Beach (Fla.), Palm Beach Flames SC plays in the UPSL Southeast Conference Florida Palm Beach Division II, and currently hosts its UPSL home games in compliance with UPSL Minimum Standards.

Palm Beach Flames SC travels to play ISC on Saturday, Sept. 7, 2019, at Burt Aaronson South County Regional Park. Kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m. ET. Tickets and parking are free.

United Premier Soccer League Florida Division Manager Christian Vallejos said, "We're pleased to welcome Palm Beach Flames SC into UPSL Florida Palm Beach Division II. The club took a giant step forward in its first season, and Nelly Palaga continues to do great things for young players, giving them avenues to succeed beyond soccer. They're a quality club and we wish them the best of luck this season."

Nelly Palaga is Chief Operating Officer and Head Coach of Palm Beach Flames SC. Born in Puerto Rico but raised in Philadelphia (Pa.), Palaga earned a Doctorate in Business from Temple University and has been a driving force for youth soccer in South Florida for more than 17 years.

Palm Beach Flames SC Chief Operating Officer Nelly Palaga said, "Everything went really fast last season and we didn't take advantage of all that the UPSL has to offer. Obviously, we like this challenge. We like the regional format. We like the level of talent and these players, and giving them an opportunity to showcase their talent.  We're expecting this season to be a much better, much smoother season."

Palaga concurrently serves as Girls Varsity Head Coach at West Palm Beach (Fla.)'s Oxbridge Academy, and has had an ever expanding role with the youth club Palm Beach GPS the last four years.

Christian Landaverde returns for his second season as the team's captain. The top scorer and Team MVP at Palm Beach Gardens (Fla.) High School in 2016 and 2017, Landaverde most recently played for Fort Lauderdale (Fla.)'s Keiser University (NCAA).

The club soon will announce its roster and upcoming game schedule.
