August 16, 2019 – Los Angeles – The United Premier Soccer League (UPSL) is pleased to announce New York Contour United as a member kicking off with the 2019 Fall Season.

Based in Garden City (N.Y.) and sponsored by Contour Mortgage Corporation, New York Contour United (NYCU) will begin UPSL play in the Northeast Conference and play its UPSL home games this season at Mitchel Athletic Complex (1 Charles Lindbergh Blvd, Uniondale, NY 11553), a 49-acre complex centrally located in the heart of Nassau County with a capacity of over 10,000 seats.

United Premier Soccer League Northeast Conference American Division Manager Paul Konneh said, "The UPSL Northeast Conference is going to be extremely competitive this Fall Season with so many quality teams coming in. New York Contour United is an exciting club, full potential, with leadership in place and ready to take the club to new heights. We wish New York Contour United the best of luck as it gets to kick off this season."

Nelson J. Rodriguez is Owner and President of New York Contour United. A native of El Salvador, Rodriguez was a three-time All-County selection at Manhasset (N.Y.) High School, earning him a full scholarship to Rockville Center (N.Y.)'s Molloy College. During his senior season at Manhasset HS, Rodriguez's team posted a 13-0-1 regular season record and went on to claim the Suffolk County Championship and the Long Island Championship at Suffolk County (N.Y.) Community College in front of a crowd of 800 supporters, before advancing to the New York State Semifinals in Syracuse (N.Y.).

New York Contour United Owner Nelson Rodriguez said, "We've been around less than two years and have accomplished tremendous success. We have a strong organization from our back office, coaches, players, sponsors and most importantly our fans that have supported us since Day 1. There is a lot of talent in New York, especially Long Island and the 'Five Boroughs.' We are going to create a pathway for the youth players so they can find another way forward in soccer through NY Contour United. I want to take the same mentality I had since I was young and build our amazing club at a very fast pace, and the UPSL is the beginning of our journey."

Juan Esteban Osorio Jaramillio serves as Head Coach of New York Contour United (NYCU). Born in Medellin, Colombia, Osorio holds a Bachelor's degree in Sports Training Methodology, and is both a Professional Nutritional Coach and a Certified Coach from La Liga Antioquena de Futbol. The former youth Head Coach of Club Atletico National (Colombia) and a Professional Physical Trainer for Deportivo Arabe Unido (Panama) and Real Cartagena (Colombia), Osorio also has worked for clubs in Argentina, Paraguay and the United States.

"Juan Osorio is a lot more than just a coach, he's the best in the business. He brings a lot more than futbol to our organization and his passion and love of the sport and our players is what makes our family New York Contour United. We are honored and excited to have Juan Osorio on our side."

The club soon will announce its upcoming game schedule.
