July 18, 2019 – Los Angeles – The United Premier Soccer League (UPSL) is excited to announce JETSETV FC as a new league member kicking off with the 2019 Fall Season.

Based in Lake Park (Fla.), JETSETV FC is a registered non-profit organization and will begin play in UPSL Division I Florida Palm Beach Section. The club is finalizing its venue options in compliance with UPSL Minimum Standards.

United Premier Soccer League Florida Conference Manager Cristian Vallejos said, "We're excited to welcome JETSETV FC to the Florida Conference. 'JETSETV' is a club with some years under its belt in the West Palm Beach area that wants to move forward competitively. It's a pleasure to have Jonathan Marcella and his group out of Lake Park in the UPSL. Good luck to 'JETSETV' as the team kicks off in the Fall."

JETSETV FC was founded as a satellite of a Bogota, Colombia-based training academy and Christian education and cultural exchange program. 'JETSETV FC' was opened in Lake Park (Fla.) in 2015, and currently trains as many as 120 players a week.

Jonathan Marcella is President of JETSETV FC. Currently a Florida resident, Marcella is a co-Founder and a Board Member of Christian Sports Association in Bogota, Colombia.

JETSETV FC President Jonathan Marcella said, "We have grown enough that we believe the next step is the competitive step. We want to showcase our players, not just from the United States but also from Colombia. We started 'JETSETV' in 2015 and the team has been growing pretty steadily so we said, 'OK, competition is the next step' and we are going to showcase our club and our players for the years to come."

Ricardo Rozo serves as head Coach of JETSETV FC. A former coach for the Colombian Women's National Team Head Coach, Rozo was on the staff with the team at the 2011 FIFA Women's World Cup and the 2012 London Summer Olympics.

JETSETV FC will announce tryouts and its upcoming game schedule.

The UPSL was formed in 2011 and currently includes more than 300 teams in Alaska, Arizona, California, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Oklahoma, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Texas, Utah, Virginia and Wisconsin. UPSL is the fastest growing Pro Development League in the USA, with 400-plus teams targeted for 2019 Fall Season. Each UPSL team is individually owned and operated, and is responsible for maintaining either UPSL Pro Premier Division or Championship Division minimum standards.

UPSL teams are all eligible to participate in the U.S. Open Cup Qualifying Rounds through the leagues affiliation with the U.S. Soccer Federation (USSF) and the United States Adult Soccer Association (USASA).
